it's a tough life, but.......

after a major D-land drought, I've been invited to go twice this week. woohoo! don't have much time to hang out in blogland, cuz i have to back 5 days of real life into 3 but wanted to stop by to say "hi."


here's a couple of shots from a hot, muggy day at the happiest place on earth. it was practically empty yesterday. everyone's waiting for the weather to cool down a little.


this is my friend, Carrie. She wanted to learn more about her camera so we spent the day taking random pictures. Notice that there is no crowd....aahhhhh...makes it so much nicer.

    I just read your Italy/Holland post... what she said was brilliant (and as the sibling of a person with a disability, it rang SO true)... and I'm so glad you took the same view after your husband's accident. I think maybe I need to brush off my guidebook to Holland... different reasons for landing there, but the scenery's still the same. Thanks for that :)

    Oooh...I LOVE empty days at Disneyland-----it feels like everything is there JUST FOR ME!

    It's hard to believe that's Disneyland! No people around! Hot muggy days are always the best time to go the parks...no crowds!
