We ended up road tripping up the Pacific Coast Highway to Monterey for a couple of days.
Did the tourist things...the aquarium, cannery row, Bubba Gump
Shrimp (which was much better than we expected), stopped at all the vista points and took pictures and just basically enjoyed some time away.


We also met some VERY friendly squirrels:

    Hahaha... that squirrel reminds me of the one I met in D.C. in March. Very friendly... or VERY hungry!!
