my temporary office

With hubby1 gone for a week and the weather forecast calling for several days of real rain (up to 8"), wood sales have been brisk.  There were so many calls this morning that I finally just grabbed a chair, a cup of coffee, a good book and just camped out by the wood pile.

I do wonder, however, why no one can plan more than a day ahead.    You know January is coming....you know it's going to get colder and probably rain.   Maybe you should order your wood in November or December?   Just a thought....
