2010 roadtrip - day 1

After a long day of driving and pushing ourselves until we could drive no further, we stopped at a rest area outside Las Cruces, New Mexico.    As we were leaving (notice that we were up and going again before sunrise), we found this fun roadrunner.   

I love this kind of stuff....it's what makes roadtrips awesome!
