what cuties. I hate it when people form opinions about a breed....from one incident. My best friends has four pitbulls...and they are big babies. Her children have hauled them around on wagons, pulled their ears and tails...slept with them. Your guys look precious.
@suldog - this is our second pitbull. hubby1 fell in love with the first one and brought her home without discussing it. i'll admit i was scared to have her around the kids. she was the best dog we've ever owned. she was obedient, loving, protective, smart and so easy to train.
we put her down a year ago...she was 14.
Vespa joined us when boy2 fell in love with her at the animal shelter.
Is Vespa straight up Pitt? She is a (much) thinner dead ringer for my lazy (code word for fat) Molly mutt.
I have a Chi mixed with some type of shepherd too. She is a crazy dog though. We love her, but, most people do not.
My neighbor has the biggest friendliest Pitt on the planet (maybe just on the East coast) and I am in such love. He ran away a few months ago and he found me. My 3 year old took one look at him and declared that I had brought Clifford home.
That's what I call friendship!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! We have the biggest, sloppiest boxer girl. You should see people react to her -- like she's that cougar thing from Avatar.

ReplyDeleteIt's obvious you have a nice friendly dog there. May I ask what prompted you to become a pitbull owner? Just curious.

Thanks. I've only known a couple of pitbulls. One was very friendly, but I'd get awfully scared when he nuzzled my crotch, which he was wont to do.
