Continuing the iphone app theme

The first "just because" app that I downloaded was Pocket God.   My niece pretty  much demanded that I get it.   Girl1 agreed wholeheartedly.    There's no real point to Pocket God.....you become a god to a small island inhabited by 6 pygmies.   You can name them and send them to different parts of the islands.  You choose daytime or nighttime, sunny or stormy, dance or no dance, zombies or no zombies, monsters or no monster....you get the idea.   You're in charge....you are god.

But the real fun of Pocket God is torturing the pygmies. You pick them up, drop them, feed them to sharks, or throw them in the water. Flick them into the volcano and watch what happens.   Turn them into zombies and the make them dance as only zombies can.

No real point to the game....but oh so much fun!

iphone apps?

So...did any of you download "Words with Friends?"     Isn't it a blast?!!!!  

Girl1 is still accusing me of cheating and is refusing to play now.   I told her to finish the current game or I wouldn't do any more wedding stuff.   lol

I love my iphone.   I didn't think I would.   When girl1 bought hers, it looked so complicated that I pretty much decided that I would never get one.    But she was always showing me the cool new thing that she had downloaded and it sucked me in.   When the 3G came out, I  turned in the Blackberry and joined the iphone craze.   and I'm hooked.

I would never have believed all the incredible stuff you can do with a phone.   And hurray for the fuel tank so now I can charge the battery while on the go.

Do you have an iphone/itouch?  Any apps that you can't live without?   Please share....I'd hate to missing out on something.   =D

Words with Friends

Girl1 BEGGED me to download this app to my phone so we could play.  (read that: Girl1 thinks she is smarter than her mom and wanted to show off by beating me at this stupid game).    Little did Girl1 know that my mom taught me to play Scrabble as soon as I learned to read and my mom did not believe in letting the kids win.  I play word games...and I play them well.

So I downloaded the game and invited Girl1 to play (her user name is zatetic1...feel free to go kick her butt too).  I won...she accused me of cheating.   So we played again....I won (by 200 points)....she accused me of cheating.

I haven't heard from her for a couple of hours.....sour grapes....


I played a game with some random player.   Picked really horrid letters.   She was kicking my butt. I finally drew a couple vowels (which come in handy when spelling...just saying).   I'm within 15 points of her and she quits.   What's with these people....just play the game!
